The middle class look down on and negatively stereotype the poor because they want to feel superior over them. The middle class feels this way because of how the poor community is forced to live and the type of poor decisions they make, even though statistics show that middle-class families are more likely to make these types of mistakes 2 times more than any class, like for example having a baby young, the only difference is that the poor community is promoted a lot more in society.
